I cannot begin a post without acknowledging my absence and offering my apologies for depriving you of the nerdiness of recent case developments. If it’s any consolation, I have a healthy list of cases that I have every intention of writing up about. However, I will also say in my defence that I have been pre-occupied with recovery from shoulder surgery in June 2021 and am currently preparing for another this June 2022. Fun times. Oh and this little thing called my PhD! They really are fun times for this little nerd. so health and distractions aside, let’s talk about my little project.

Whilst I have been busy in lots of ways, I have found time to record my voice with a good friend and esteemed colleague Caite Brewer, Barrister extra-ordinaire on a brand new podcast built for succession lawyers and nerds everywhere.

It is aptly named, The Heir Waves.

Caite and I are super proud of it so far and I’m so excited to share it with you all. I hope you love listening as much as we love chatting about all the recent cases from all over the country.

We have discovered themes in some of the recent cases and are really enjoying the conversational flow of our chats in the podcast and so far the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Although we’re enjoying it as we go, we absolutely welcome any feedback or suggestions for guests and topics you’d like us to chat about.
